Parking in Bruges’ city centre

ParkingIn order to guarantee the quality of life for everybody in our city centre, recognized as World Heritage by Unesco, new parking regulations have come into effect since October 2008. Nowadays the city centre is divided into 3 parking zones. 'De Drie Koningen' is situated in Zone 3 (yellow) - City Centre. This means metered parking : every day, max. 2 hours (including Sundays and public holidays) from 9 am until 7 pm

Our visitors have 4 possibilities to park the car :

1. Rent a garage at 'De Drie Koningen'.
We have 4 parking spaces available for our guests. We recommend to book these spaces in advance.
The rent is 10 € per day. 50 € per week.

2. Use the parking 'Pandreitje' (350 m)
The rent is 8,7 € per day.

3. Use the parking Station (railway station)
24h a day - 2,50 euro per day  + free bus service to and from the city centre ( Markt - 250 m )

4. Use one of the parking lots alongside the ring road
from where you will quickly reach downtown, walking or using one of the frequently operated bus lines.

Bruges is located on the main railtrack between Brussels and Ostend. So it's very easy to get here from any Belgian station (Gent, Brussel, Airport Zaventem, Antwerpen) or other European cities.

Brussels South

With the Eurostar from London it's a 1h50 min drive to get in 'Brussels South' (Brussel Zuid).
There you have to switch trains to Ostend or 'Knokke/Blankenberge' for a 55 min drive - normally every half hour

From the station in Bruges :
- you can walk to 'De Drie Koningen' - 20 minutes (cobblestones !)
- take a bus - every 6 minutes towards 'Centrum' or 'Markt' for a 5 min drive + 250 meters walking
- with a taxi - 10 minute drive (10-15 €)

> Belgian and European Railways
> Eurostar

> From Brussels Airport

- Railway station is located in the basement (elevator)
- have a train to Brussels and switch trains in Brussels South, Brussels Central Station or Brussels North (our preference). (see also travelling by train).

> From Brussels-South-Charleroi-Airport
Daily low fare flights (Ryan air). To travel to Bruges :
- have a train to Brussels South (Brussel-Zuid) and switch trains (see also 'travelling by train').
